A recent global survey conducted by the Institute for Corporate Productivity compared high performing organizations with lower performers by inquiring about four critical factors associated with High Performance:

1. Revenue Growth

2. Market Share

3. Profitability

4. Customer Satisfaction

Survey results indicated that in HPO’s, as measured by the four factors above, the following conditions existed across the board:

  • Leaders were clear, fair, and talent-oriented, and employee engagement was high
  • Innovation and the ability to respond with agility were valued
  • Performance measures were clear and people received job-appropriate skill development, including Teaming Skills and Collaboration training.
  • The high performers in the study were more likely than the others to adhere to high ethical standards.
